Hello PCJLC Livestock Family-
I want to thank those who have reached out and offered their help and provided solutions during this difficult time. I am proud of our community for rallying together for our kids as we enter into uncharted territory. Thank you to the committee for your commitment and long hours these past few days, it is a true testament to the dedication this committee has to our youth!
Given the government, 4H, and FFA mandates on gatherings and interactions, we are limited on auction solutions that do not compromise the direction we have been given . Our Auction Chair, Carlos Gamez has chartered a well versed committee that has made it their top priority to develop the best possible solutions to assist with the financial burden. At this time, they are diligently working on a solution which will be ready to communicate in the next few days. Please continue feeding and caring for your animal(s) until a solution has been reached.
I will stress that the health, safety and well-being of everyone is of the utmost importance to us. We must all do our part as citizens for our community to get the COVID-19 outbreak under control. If you have any questions or concerns, please send your inquires to PCJUNIORLIVESTOCK@gmail.com

The Pinal County Junior Livestock Committee first and foremost has an obligation to protect the youth and communities that we serve. Based on the Center for Disease Control and research available it is recommended that social distancing is necessary to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
With a heavy heart we are announcing that the PCJLC March 17th-22nd, 2020 Livestock show has been cancelled. We recognize this is a major upset. Further actions will be taken to support exhibitors financially. The PCJLC Board is committed to finding financial solutions and options for the exhibitors.
Furthermore, the carcass awards ceremony is cancelled & results will be posted online (Monday at 3pm).
Please don’t panic-hold onto your animals, and we will communicate next steps on Tuesday evening. If you have any solutions, or recommendations please send to your member at large or to PCJUNIORLIVESTOCK@gmail.com as we value your feedback.

We have been working with the Pinal County Health and Environmental Services Department to provide an excellent and safe experience for the community. We are following all health guidelines and of course keeping an eye on the local situation.
At this time the 2020 Fair and Livestock is scheduled to continue, however, we are taking directive from Federal, State, and Local government should the situation change.
We ask everyone to do their part in protecting themselves, staff, and the community and take preventive actions:
